New Delhi. Speeding car and a drunk driver crushed four people on Thursday night in Delhi’s Mangolpuri area. Two people were killed in the accident while two were injured.
The injured were admitted to a private hospital. Where one remains in a serious condition. After the incident, the accused drunk car driver was handed over to the police by the locals. Police has registered a case against the driver is being investigated.
According to police, on Thursday night at 11, local people were shopping in Mangolpuri's fish market. Meanwhile, an eco-car going towards Sultanpuri got uncontrolled and crushing four people, collided with a wall of a brook.
People caught the accussed dricer running away from the incident and informed the police. Police arrived at the scene, and all the injured people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Two people were declared dead by the doctors. A young man who died at has been identified as the resident of Block-A Sultanpuri, “Roshan (19)” while the other 30-year-old young man is yet to be identified.
The injured were identified as Sultanpuri resident Ghanshyam (43) and Madan Lal (44). Ghanshyam still remains in critical condition. The driver was identified as Ravi, a Sultanpuri resident. Consumption of alcohol has been confirmed in the medical examination of Ravi. At the time of event he was going to Sultanpuri after partying with his three friends. Rohan's body was handed over to his family on Friday after the autopsy.
