Two more people have been arrested for kidnapping a doctor and his compounder from south east Delhi's Jaitpur territory and requesting a payment of Rs. 25 crore, police said on Tuesday.
A month ago, police had arrested seven individuals and amid interrogation, they had told the police that there are more individuals who are included.
The two denounced, distinguished as Ram Prakash (47) and Amir Chand (56) were captured from UP, said Romil Baaniya, DCP (Southeast).
On the premise of information sources, police led a few attacks at the areas uncovered by the blamed people in Etah and Hathrash in UP and grabbed Amir Chand and Ram Prakash, he said.
Amir Chand was captured from Farukhabad on September 22 and Ram Prakash was captured from Etah on October 2, he included.
40-year-old Vinod Kumar and his compounder Ajay (21) were saved by a group of Delhi Police, including authorities of the Special Cell from Etah in UP on September 18 after the police followed Kumar's mobile phone, utilized by the abductors to make the payment call, they said.
The team was protected from a timberland region in Etah and attacks were led to grab the guilty parties. Two of the denounced – Ram Besh and Chattar Pal were held from Farukhabad Road in Kayamganj in Uttar Pradesh.
Dr Kumar and Ajay were kidnapped while returning home to Faridabad from the center in Saurabh Vihar on Jaitpur on the night of September 12. An instance of abducting was enlisted at Jaitpur police headquarters on a grumbling by the specialist's dad.
The complainant had gotten a payment call of Rs. 25 crore and when he communicated his failure to pay the sum, the abductors conveyed it down to Rs. 39 lakh.
