The police in Bengal’s East Midnapore region have a terrible errand staring them in the face. They are searching for the beheaded heads of two young women whose bodies were found in the district on Saturday. Police suspect that a ‘tantric’ may be involved in at least one case as flowers, incense sticks and vermillion were found near the body.
The other body was found close brambles. Police are examining if there is any association between the two passings. The character of the two ladies is yet to be built up.
Right off the bat Saturday morning, the body of a lady, accepted to be 18, was seen in a betel leaf cultivate in the Tamluk police headquarters region. After two hours, the body of the second lady was found in the Nandigram police headquarters zone, around 60 km away.
Police say the “tantrik” images might be a red herring put by the killer. They are additionally checking if the ladies were killed adjacent or slaughtered somewhere else and dumped at the two areas.
There is one contrast between the two killings. The Tamluk casualty seems to have been killed hours before her body was found. The Nandigram casualty may have been dead for around 48 hours before being found.
