4 cups milk
Half a cup of fresh cream
3 tablespoon porridge
2 cups sugar
A tablespoon ghee
A cup of cashews, finely chopped
One cup almond, finely chopped
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 tablespoons pistachios, long cut
Put ghee in a vessel, when it gets hot, add oatmeal to it and fry it until light brown on medium flame. Remove it and keep it aside.
Now add milk in a heavy frying pan and boil it on medium flame. When the milk boils, add cream in it and boil till milk thickens.
It will take about 40 minutes. If the milk is in the pot, keep on releasing it from the spoon.
Now add Dalia and sugar to the milk and mix it and cook it for 20 minutes. Keep stirring with the spoon so that the milk does not stick in the side of the vessel.
Now add cocoa powder, cashew nuts and almonds and cook it until it becomes like a large loin or it does not leave ghee.
It will take about 15 minutes. Now grease a plate and spread the prepared mixture in it.
Cut off its barfi-shaped grinded and put pistachios and press it with a spoon of light hand. Doda Barfi is ready, serve it after cooling.
