NEW DELHI: Nearly 26 trains get late and 17 others were rescinded following dense fog engulfed Delhi and nearby areas on Monday morning.
Additionally, about six trains were adjourned by the Indian Railways because of foggy weather.
Few trains were rerouted because of lack of visualness and other operational causes.
Delhi has been facing minimum and maximum temperature of 7 and 24 degrees Celsius correspondingly while the humidity level was noted to be 91 per cent at 8.30 am.
As per Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the situation of fog is likely to remain moderate today.
Complete north India appeared to have come under the grasp of massive cold monsoon conditions. It has affected the daily life of Delhiites.
Since last week, an opaque fog enclosed various areas of North India with the temperature reducing in Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and HP. The rail, road and air services have been affected due to dense fog.
