Delhi: Dense fog hit Delhi on Sunday morning that led to the disruption in railway and air traffic.
Over 90 flights were affected among which 40 were rerouted from the Delhi airport because of poor visibility.
Prior on Sunday, 10 flights were rerouted from the airport.
Nearly 15 trains were cancelled, 57 get late and time of 18 trains gets changed in various parts of northern India.
Due to foggy morning, the minimum temperature of Delhi noted 6.4 degrees Celsius, a weather office reported. While the humidity level on Sunday morning was noted 97 per cent.
The highest temperature is expected to increase by 22 degrees Celsius
Flight operations from and to Delhi are on hold because of poor visibility. Services at Indira Gandhi International airport have for the time being been deferred and about 10 flights have been rerouted from Delhi.
