Delhi: Wounded Peacock rescued At Union Minister’s home


NEW DELHI: A peacock who was injured on its right wing was recovered in Delhi at the official home of Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment. The SOS team security personnel evacuated the wounded peacock from Thaawar Chand Gehlot home on Wednesday.

“The peacock was struggling to move and appeared to be in considerable amount of pain,” stated Gourav Singh, a staff personnel

To rescue the wounded peacock, two security personnel entered the garden of Thaawar Chand Gehlot home and cautiously moved the bird to a liberate vehicle. Currently, it is facing veterinary treatment and will be sent back soon to its natural home.
