Delhi Police has advanced more than 4,000 of its junior rank staff extending from constables to inspectors in the present year.
The Delhi Police Headquarters in the first half of the present year has issued advancements in every one of the positions which will help the assurance and expert standard of the police power, said Joint CP (PHQ) Praveer Ranjan.
There has been stagnation in the lower positions of police staff for at some point and police constables, who had put in 27-28 years of service, had not got the chance to get their promotion to the rank of Head Constable.
Similarly, there was some stagnation in alternate positions too.
"This was unfavorably influencing the resolve of the police power," Ranjan said.
An aggregate 4332 faculty of Delhi Police have been agreed advancement in different positions.
Upwards of 2020 constables have been hoisted as head constables while 810 head constables have been advanced as ASIs, 1450 ASIs have been advanced as SIs, 50 SIs have been advanced as Inspectors and two auditors have gotten to be ACPs.
