Delhi, Mumbai on high alert as LeT group enters in India


NEW DELHI: An alert has been issued in Delhi and Mumbai by Intelligence agencies as there is reports of possible terror attack by Lashkar-e-Taiba in metros or in border areas of Punjab and Rajasthan.

As per the reports, about 20-21 LeT operatives may have come to India from Pakistan and afterwards separated themselves into smaller groups.

These groups have been instructed by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence, the input stated.

Delhi Police have issued a warning to guarantee tight observing and fortified anti-terror steps at Metro and railway stations, airports, famous hotels, crowded markets, religious places and stadiums in Delhi. The alarm stated the infiltrators decision to carry out a “tremendous terrorist incident,” in order to draw media consideration.

As per the Intelligence officers, the militants may execute average intensity blast at a crowded place. Police have also been directed to perform accurate frisking and checking, apart from tightening safety measures.

In the starting of May, a US intelligence official had cautioned that Pakistan-based terrorist groups were taking decision to carry out attacks in India. It even added that Islamabad had botched to leash in militants.
