Delhi: Massive fire broke out in plastic scrap market in Mundka


New Delhi: On early Friday morning a massive fire broke out in the plastic scrap market of Mudka in the national capital (Delhi).

As per locals, as many as 33 fire tenders are at the spot. No one was reportedly injured. There is no instant report of how the occurrence took place

. Due to the incident, there is a dread of major monetary losses. The market is considered as Asia’s biggest destination for plastic scrap.

In Ghaziabad previous Friday also at least thirteen people were killed in a fire mishap in a factory. Many people were also wounded during the occurrence.

On November 7, similar kind of occurrence happened in the Sadar Bazaar area of old Delhi, which is a popular market for wholesale items. The fire is said to have commenced with a short circuit.
