New Delhi: Gold and gems foundations in the national capital stayed shut for the sixteenth day after the Income Tax Department directed reviews taking after reports of claimed profiteering and endeavors at expense avoidance in the wake of government’s demonetisation move.
The review operations were completed on November 10 in no less than four areas in Delhi-NCR locale, including Dariba Kalan, Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh.
The administration on November 8 declared the demonetisation of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes to flush out dark cash.
A large portion of the gems houses have been shut since November 11 in the national capital.
