Delhi : Four held for threatening cab driver


Delhi  Four people arrested for allegedly threatening a cab driver and creating a brawl in in south Delhi’s Lodhi Colony area Saturday night, said the Delhi police officials. All the accused were in their early 20’s according to the police report.

A police official reported, “The accused, who were consuming alcohol, got into a scuffle with a cab driver over a parking dispute. One of them, who had a licensed pistol, threatened to kill the driver and opened fire in the air.”

 Police said the driver immediately called the Police Control Room and said the four men had opened fire and were creating a hubbub in the area.

“A police team reached the spot and found the men were in an inebriated state. They were arrested from the spot,” said a police officer.

“The team also recovered the licensed pistol from one of the accused. He had obtained it in 2006 from Uttar Pradesh,” added the officer.
