New Delhi: The court on Wednesday had filed the charges against Chota Rajan and three others. The case was filed in connection with fake passport case.
The order was passed by Patiala High Court Special Judge Vinod Kumar.
Earlier, Rajan had denied the allegations that he used a fictitious identity with the help of fake passport to escape the law as he was accused in several cases.
The CBI alleged that government officials conspired to issue the passport to Rajan in the name of Mohan Kumar, a non existence person who is in complete violation of procedures.
According to CBI, Rajan had issued his first passport from Bengaluru on January 1,1988.
They further added that Rajan had got his passport issued twice from Indian Mission abroad on the basis of fake travel document issued to him in the name of from Bengaluru passport office.
