Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to undergo throat surgery in Bengaluru


NEW DELHI: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will undergo throat surgery and will remain away from the national capital for a night.

On 13 September, Kejriwal will undergo surgery to prevent from chronic cough problem. He will not address any meeting for the 10 days.
"Before leaving for Bengaluru, the CM will embark on a 4-day visit to Punjab starting from September 8. He will meet party leaders and address public gathering in Punjab.”

"Thereafter, he will leave for Bengaluru on September 12 and undergo surgery next day. He is expected to come back on September 22," said a senior government official.

Arvind Kejriwal Chief ministerial works will be looked after by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

On September 7, Manish Sisodia will visit Goa where Aam Aadmi Party members will gear up Assembly elections.

Between August 2 and 11, a Vipassana session was held at a meditation centre in Dharmshala which was attended by Kejriwal for 10 days.

A 10-day naturopathy treatment of Arvind Kejriwal for his cough problem was held in January at Jindal Nature Cure Institute, Bengaluru.
