NEW DELHI: On Thursday in central Delhi, a 34-year-old man was died after he was hit by a train at the busy Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. The occurrence was accounted about 8:40 am at the station located in the Connaught Place area. The victim, recognized as Amit Talwar, was positioning at the edge of a platform at the station when the train bound for Jahangirpuri hit him following which he fell on the tracks.
A senior official has also further conveyed that, he died on the spot. He was hurried to the hospital at the Lady Hardinge Medical College nearby where doctors affirmed him "brought dead". Mr Amit Talwar was a resident of Saket area in south Delhi and police has filed a case in this association. Police Officials have also further conveyed that, metro services were disrupted for a few minutes.
