Damascus: 20 people killed in three car bomb attacks


Nearly 20 people died and several dozens injured in a car bomb blast that took place in Damascus on Sunday. The bomb blast was held in the Bab Touma district of the capital.

Syrian officials stated, three car bombs were held in main areas of Damascus on Sunday.

As per one of the media channel, few people have been died as the security forces had protected the militants from reaching their goals.

The images that have gone viral on the social media showcased destroyed vehicles in front of a mosque in the Baytara traffic circle near the Old City.

Two suicide bomb attacks were held in the month of March in Damascus that lost the lives of several people. Islamic State proclaimed responsibility for the attack.

Likewise in March, a twofold suicide assault in the capital slaughtered scores of individuals, the greater part of them Iraqi Shi’ite explorers.
