NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court showed anger towards BCCI on Thursday over Lodha Committee recommendations.
On Twitter handle, Lalit Modi called IPL Chairman Rajiv Shuka as ‘Dalal’ while BCCI President Anurag Thakur as the ‘Original fixer’.
In 2013, Modi was forbid by the BCCI for life after a charges of misconduct, indiscipline and financial irregularities were put on him by the committee in 2010.
Lalit Modi affirmed that, “The system (in BCCI) no different than before and the only way out is to do a total cleanup as suggested by the Lodha Committee.”
Modi even targeted on Thakur's qualification as a genuine cricketer after BCCI had supported its President's capability to be an office bearer of the cash-rich body yesterday. Modi went ahead to comment that Thakur constrained himself into the Himchal Pradesh Ranji group as his dad was the Chief Minister around then.
Modi, president of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) met with the state body's authorities in Dubai where he took decision to totally acknowledge the resolutions of the Justice Lodha Panel for state affiliations.
