Australian police Monday shot dead a man who abducted a lady in a Melbourne apartment, after the body of another man was found in the building’s entryway.
The lady fled securely yet three officers were harmed as police stormed the building.
Authorities presently can’t seem to decide if the episode was terrorism related.
“Police have settled a hostage circumstance at a loft hinder in Brighton,” Victoria state police said in an announcement. Brighton is a Melbourne suburb.
“A man has been shot dead by police in the Bay Street loft complex right away before 6pm.
“Police have securely protected a lady who was being held without wanting to in the apartment block.”
Police were reacting to reports of a blast at the apartment prior in the day when they found the body of a man in the lobby.
“Another man was before found deceased with a gunfire wound in the lobby of the serviced apartment building just after 4pm,” the police said.
“Police are examining whether the occurrence is terrorism related.”
