Cops discover ‘suspicious’ bag near Mamun Army base, high alert announced in Pathankot


NEW DELHI: The local police officials of Punjab’s Pathankot allegedly discovered a suspicious bag near Mamun Army cantonment on Sunday night, resulting in the announcement of high alert in Pathankot city on Monday, reported the media.

“Three Army uniforms have been recuperated from the bag amid the pursuit operation. The uniform have “Jammu” composed on it,” a senior police official stated, including, “As of now, Army, SWAT commandos have been conveyed and are sterilizing the territory.”

He likewise said that the bag was discovered covered up and stuffed in a gunny sack.
