Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad unveiled the new Note 5 Lite C in India and is priced at Rs. 7,777. From Saturday the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C smartphone will go on sale and will be accessible offline via 3,000 multi-brand stores crossways eight states in India counting Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The smartphone will be accessible in two color options – Grey and Gold.
CoolPad Note 5 Lite C is the corporation’s first smartphone to run on Android 7.1 Nougat. The smartphone sports a metallic finish with the fingerprint scanner at the back below the camera sensor. The volume buttons are housed on the left edge whereas the power key sits on the right edge. It has a 3.5mm audio jack sitting on the top edge whereas the Micro-USB and speaker grilles are located at the bottom edge. There is no home button in front and capacitive keys are proffered for navigation.
Talking about the features, the smartphone runs on the newest Android software (based on Cool UI presumably) and supports dual-SIM slots. It has a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 294 ppi pixel density and is motorized by the 1.1GHz Snapdragon 210 quad-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 304 GPU. Internal storage space is 16GB and it is further expandable via a microSD slot.
The smartphone features a 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, f/2.4 aperture, and flash support. At the front, there is a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2500mAh battery that is rated to proffer 240 hours of standby time. Connectivity options comprise Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE support. CoolPad Note 5 Lite C weighs 139 grams and the dimensions measure at 142.4×70.4×7.95mm.
