Complaint lodged against Karnataka forest minister’s son for creating public nuisance


Karnataka Forest Minister Ramanath Rai's son was caught up by the public as he was seen partying on a private road. Not only this, he even created nuisance at the Srimangala area of Kodagu district on Sunday.

Deepu Raj and his friends, Tejas and Ganesh were doing party in the parked car on a private road, leading to the house of former gram panchayat president Mandamada Tejappa.

People after getting irritated by the loud music and partying, locals of the area interrogated Deepu Raj over his behaviour.

The case was filed against him in Srimangla police station. Moreover, police took Deepu to Srimangala police station

“The law of the land should apply to my son if he has committed a mistake. Small mistakes happen and if Deepu has done something which is punishable, let him be punished,'' Rai told media on Monday.

He even added that, “Children are no longer under parent’s control once they are grown up.”
