Company Hyundai to raise prices of cars by up to Rs 20,000 from August 16


NEW DELHI: Company Hyundai Motor India Ltd has proclaimed that it will hike the price of models by upto 20,000 from August 16.

Ola raised Rs 384 crore from US financial specialist in December 2015

"The rupee depreciation and the increase in input costs have impacted our overall cost. We have been absorbing most of the cost. Now, we have been compelled to increase prices," Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) Senior Vice-President (sales & marketing) Rakesh Srivastava said.

It further added that, "we are currently working out the details".

Currently, company HMIL advertises wide range of products including vehicles which starts from entry-level small car Eon to premium SUV Santa Fe which is priced between Rs 3.25 lakh and Rs 31.75 lakh.

The price of SUV Vitara Brezza has been increased by Rs. 20,000 and that of its premium hatchback Baleno by Rs 10,000.

Moreover, The company has increased the price of models starting from hatchback Alto 800 to premium crossover S-Cross between Rs 2.45 lakh to Rs 12.03 lakh
