LUCKNOW: On Monday Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav declares a cash reward of Rs. one crore for Varun Bhati for winning a bronze medal in the Paralympic Games in Rio.
In Lucknow a representative release matter conveyed the Chief Minister has praised Mr Bhati on his success and declares a cash reward of Rs. one crore.
"Through his hard work and devotion, Varun Bhati has put up a great show and achieved this feet earning honour for the nation and the state," Mr Yadav has conveyed, adding his attainment will prove to be a support for the "devyangs".
Mr Bharti, who hails from Jamalpur village in Greater Noida, won a bronze in the high jump event in the Paralympic Games on September 10.
