Keeping these things in mind, we are giving you few tips to choose the right fabric for your wedding lehenga.

Nose rings you should try

For her Mumbai reception, Anushka wanted to wear old world glamour. And we decided to ‘Jazz’ it up in smoky grey. Hand beaten silver thread, textured sequins and cut organza flowers were assembled on an embroidered tulle base to create an ethereal lehenga. Award winning master craftsmen from Lucknow rendered her stunning dupatta which was clinched on the waist with our ‘Bengal tiger’ belt. Anushka’s look was accessorised with a necklace and earrings hand crafted with rose cut diamonds, solitaires and briolettes from the Sabyasachi fine jewelry collection. And BTW @virat.kohli looks absolutely dapper in a @raghavendra.rathore We had made a very similar piece and in the confusion of the great Indian wedding the credits got swapped. Mr. Mukherjee is personally a huge fan of the Rathore label and deeply regrets the error. @anushkasharma @virat.kohli @bridesofsabyasachi For all jewellery related queries, kindly contact sabyasachijewelry@sabyasachi.com #Sabyasachi #TheWorldOfSabyasachi #SabyasachiJewelry #AnushkaSharmaViratKohliReception #AnushkaSharma #ViratKohli #Virushka Styled by: @alliaalrufai Image Courtesy: @viralbhayani

Georgette or chiffon- Common but graceful fabric for lehengas, both georgette and chiffon look wonderful on a bride. These fabrics suit a woman of any frame. Women with fuller frame choose tangled work while women with a petite figure choose for large embroidery for the desired effect.

Velvet-

Velvet adds royalty to any outfit and it works well for a winter wedding. The fabric of velvet is quite thick. The good thing about this fabric is that your lehenga can look gorgeous even with minimal work on it as it is a rich material. Go for dark sahdes like deep reds, maroons or even hues of blue and green for the wedding. Actress Hazel Keech is looking stunning in a velvet lehenga on her wedding day!

Amrita @amupuri was going to have a destination wedding. Outdoorsy, with lot of sunshine and fresh flowers. She wanted to wear something fragrant, light yet glamourous. She loved The Udaipur Collection but wanted something special. I had a Persian document that had been fascinating me for quite a while. So we sat down on the drawing board and translated the document into a wedding lehenga panel. Hundred and eleven colours of silk thread in vintage Persian shades were used to create a decorative base and embellished with bugle beads, hand-cut sequins, crystals and pearls. The wedding looked nothing short of a fairy tale and may we say the lehenga looked absolutely gorgeous on her. @bridesofsabyasachi Image Courtesy: @rambalmur #Sabyasachi #TheWorldOfSabyasachi

Silk-

Actress Amrita Puri is killing it with her smiling in this gorgeous silk lehenga. If you are in search for something classy and subtle, then opt for silk fabric which is elegant and at the same time lends a traditional touch to any outfit. There are several varieties of silk available so pick something that appeals to you the most.

Tips for eye make-up

Net or lace-

Both net and lace are light fabrics when it comes to wedding lehengas. You can make the attire look elaborate with intricate embroidery and embellishments on it. These are perfect fabrics for lehengas as net and lace fit well and do not even more volume to your frame. Sagarika Ghatge is giving us bride goals in the above picture!
