Chinese troops intruded 45 km into Arunachal in India


The Chinese Army reportedly intruded in Anjaw of Arunachal Pradesh on September 9. They set up a camp some 45 kms inside the Indian territory.

According to reports, they were forced to go back by a joint patrol of Army and Indo-Tibetan Border Police in the area after four days on September 13. 

A Flag Meeting was held on September 14 to defuse the intrusion. However, the Chinese Army was reluctant to retreat from the Indian territory. Another meeting is scheduled to be held on October 1 to resolve the illegal intrusion.
