Rio Olympic Silver Medalist PV Sindhu’s Chennai Smashers defeated Bengaluru Blasters 3-2 in a Premier Badminton League (PBL) game on Monday.
PV Sindhu showcased outstanding performance in the match and set the tone for Chennai Smashers dismissing the confront of Kirsty Gilmour 15-9, 15-14 following the doubles team of Lee Yang and B Sumeeth Reddy had taken a triumph in the Blasters’ trump game.
Chennai Smashers took a massive lead in the tie following two finished clashes.
World No.1 Viktor Axelsen tried hard for Bengaluru Blasters and beat Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk 15-11, 6-15, 15-9 to clinch the team’s first point.

Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk put up a clash against world No.1 Axelsen and lost three games.
