  • 2 egg yolks
  • 80 gm fine sugar
  • 80 ml water
  • 2 Tbsp gelatine
  • 400 ml curd
  • 1 tsp lemon rind
  • 225 gm non dairy cream – sweetened
  • 1 sponge cake-any flavor

How to Make Cheese Cake

  1. In a bowl beat egg yolk and sugar and cook in water bath.
  2. In another bowl, dissolve gelatine in water and mix it with egg yolk.
  3. Pour curd into this mixture, add lemon rind and mix well.
  4. Transfer to a bowl, cool over ice, stirring constantly.
  5. As soon as the mixture begins to set, fold in the whipped cream.
  6. Pour the set mixture into a flan ring lined with sponge cake and refrigerate for two hours.
  7. The cake can be flavored to suit your taste-mango, lemon or orange.
  8. De-mould onto a serving dish and serve with fruit puree.
