The charges of diesel and petrol are modified daily in India with results from 15 June 2017. The rates that have been mentioned below were appropriate from 6 am, 4 December 2017.
The costs are altered everyday in India consistent with global crude oil rates under dynamic pricing scheme.
Fuel companies Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum took verdict to change the rates of diesel and petrol ahead of 15 June this year.
All the oil makers decided with aim at improved domestic prices of petrol and diesel in India as compared to global oil prices.
Ahead of executing this plan in India, the fuel makers conducted 40-day test in Jamshedpur, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur and Chandigarh.
