New Delhi: The rates of petrol and diesel were raised by 5 paise per litre on Thursday. The prices were valid from 6:00 a.m today.
The oil marketing companies involving Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil companies took decision to alter the costs of petrol and diesel ahead of June 15th in year 2017.
All the fuel maker companies decided with an aim at better domestic prices of petrol and diesel dependable with worldwide oil charges.
Prior than implementing the daily revision plan in India, all these oil organizations performed 40-day analysis in several cities involving Jamshedpur, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Chandigarh.
Petroleum Minister Pradhan wrote on Twitter, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
