New Delhi: Petrol rates were increased by 11 paise and diesel by 10 paise per litre on 7th November 2017. The prices that have been mentioned below were applicable from Tuesday morning.
The prices of fuels were altered everyday in India with outcomes from June 15, 2017.
The decision to change the costs of petrol and diesel were taken by Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil organizations ahead of June 15th 2017.
Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil state oil marketing companies decided with an aim at improved domestic costs of petrol and diesel reliable with worldwide oil charges.
All these three oil companies conducted 40-day trial in several cities involving Jamshedpur, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Chandigarh before implementing the daily revision plan in India.
Petroleum Minister Pradhan posted on Twitter, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
