Petrol and diesel costs are changed every day in India with effect from June 15, 2017. The prices that have been mentioned below were appropriate from 6 am today.
The oil marketing companies involving Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil took decision to alter the rates of petrol and diesel before 15th June 2017.
The fuel marketing companies Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil took decision with an aim at improved domestic rates of petrol and diesel consistent with global oil prices.
These organizations carried out 40-day analysis in several cities involving Puducherry, Jamshedpur, Visakhapatnam, Chandigarh and Udaipur before implementing the daily revision plan in India.
On Twitter, Petroleum Minister Pradhan shared, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
