New Delhi: The petrol and diesel prices were increased by 7 paise per litre on 27th October 2017. The rates were valid from today 6 am.
The prices of fuels were altered everyday in India with consequences from June 15, 2017.
Prior June 15th, the decision to change the cost of petrol and diesel were approved by Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil companies.
The three state oil marketing companies Hindustan Petroleum, Bharat Petroleum and Indian Oil took decision with an aim at better domestic costs of petrol and diesel reliable with worldwide oil costs.
Sooner than implementing the daily revision plan in India, all these three fuel companies conducted 40-day analysis in several cities involving Jamshedpur, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Chandigarh.
Petroleum Minister Pradhan wrote, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
