New Delhi: Petrol rates were decreased by 2 paise per litres whereas diesel prices remained same on 13th October 2017. The charges were applicable from morning.
The prices were changed in India daily with result from June 15, 2017. The result to modify the petrol rates was taken by 3 state oil marketing companies including Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil and Hindustan Petroleum. The prices of petrol and diesel that have been mentioned below are valid from 12th October morning.
3 state oil marketing companies took decision with a purpose at improved decision of domestic prices of petrol and diesel with worldwide oil rates. Prior to implementing the daily revision plan in India, these organizations carried out 40-day trial in five major cities Jamshedpur, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur, Chandigarh.
Petroleum Minister Pradhan shared, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
