New Delhi: The price of petrol and diesel remain unaffected on 10th October 2017. The rates were valid from 6:00 am morning today.
The petrol and diesel rates are altered daily under the dynamic pricing scheme dependable with worldwide crude oil prices.
Petrol prices were modified in India everyday with consequence from June 15, 2017. The verdict to alter the petrol cost was taken by 3 state oil marketing companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum. The rates of petrol and diesel that have been mentioned below were applicable from 10th October morning.
These 3 state oil marketing companies decided with intend at better configuration of domestic rates of petrol and diesel with worldwide oil charges. Ahead of executing the everyday revision plan in India, these companies conducted 40-day test in five cities including Jamshedpur, Chandigarh, Puducherry, Visakhapatnam, Udaipur.
Petroleum Minister Pradhan wrote on Twitter, “Proud to share that India is first country to switch to dynamic fuel pricing on such a large scale in one go.”
