Cheating case of Rs 20 cr filed against Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma, Ali Zafar Abbas in Muzzafarpur


A case of alleged cheating has been filed against Bollywood superstars Anushka Sharma and Salman Khan, film director Ali Zafar Abbas and others in local court of Muzzafarpur.

A complaint was filed by Mohammad Sabir Ansari alias Sabir Baba, a resident of Muzaffarpur on July 8.

He said that, ‘Movie Sultan had promised to give him Rs 20 crore as royalty for making a film based on his life.”

Sabir Ansari’s counsel Sudhir Kumar Ojha said, “Sabir had narrated his tale to Salman Khan in Mumbai in 2010 and the actor then promised the money if a film was made based on it.”

The case has been filed under vaious sections of IPC including 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

Ram Chandra Prasad have transferred the case to the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class. Moreover, the next hearing will be announced on July 26, 2016.
