New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the results of the class 12th. Students can view the results by visiting the board’s official website.
This year, a total of 14,99,122 candidates have applied, out of which 44,66,41 are girls and 6,21,259 are boys. Pass percentage of girls is higher than boys. Pass percentage of girls is 88.58% as compared to that of boys which is 78.85%.
Over all pass percentage of Thiruvanathapuram Region is 97.61% which is the highest as compared to other Regions, followed by Chennai which is 92.63%.
In order to get the results, the candidates are required to follow the steps listed below:
- Go to the official website http://www.cbse.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in
- Click on the link, ‘CBSE Class 12 Results 2016’
- Enter the roll number and school number (as given on your admit card)
On submitting the same, the results will appear on the screen.
HRD Minister Smriti Irani had given assurance in advance this week to students during a Facebook chat that the result for CBSE Board exams for Classes X and XII will be declared “on time”, before the end of this month. As per a decision taken earlier, state boards are also expected to declare their results by May 31.
