“The complaint has been lodged at the Jamia Nagar Police station which stated that Khan had put pressure on her to get into a physical relationship with him,” a senior police officer said.

“She also accused her husband of demanding dowry and putting pressure on her to get "physically intimate" with Khan,” he added.

The case has been filed against MLA under IPC sections 354A (sexual harassment), 506 (criminal intimidation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 120B (criminal conspiracy) and 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty).

"I and my wife have nothing to do with my brother-in-law's wife for four years. She has framed me in wrong case. On Board's land, a hotel has come up and that I raised this issue and registered complaint with ACB. I had also exposed financial irregularities of Rs 280 crore in the Board.” Khan said.

"I wanted to construct schools, hospitals on Board's land. What is my fault? Why am I being framed? Because, I was the chairman of Waqf Board and exposing corruption in it one by one," Khan asserted.

Asked whether he has surrendered from all posts, he answered he has stopped from all posts including as MLA, political issues advisory group (PAC) part, saying that he is only a gathering laborer now.

In any case, the Aam Aadmi Party has not acknowledged Khan's renunciation as the MLA and PAC part even as he is required to present his abdication as the administrator toDelhi Assembly Speaker according to the set down tenets.

On Khan's abdication offer, AAP state convenor Dilip Pandey said, "He (Khan) has said what he needed to. It is currently up to the media to translate the way it needs to."

The AAP had as of late removed previous Delhi priest Sandeep Kumar+ from the gathering after a CD purportedly indicating him in a "trading off" position with a lady became a web sensation.

The lady has blamed Kumar, who is at present in jail, of assault.
