Busting high-end prostitution racket involved online transfers money and social media


CHENNAI: Busting a top of the line prostitution racket which included online exchanges of cash and the utilization of web-based social networking, city police have saved a lady from a star lodging here and are scanning for the kingpin.

An uncommon group of Anti-Vice Squad as of late saved the young lady, who was later delivered in a court and stopped in an administration home, police said. A look was on for one Mohan Singh who purportedly constrained the lady, hailing from outside Tamil Nadu, into prostitution.

The man used to request clients through online media including WhatsApp, a police discharge said today. Singh, who is fleeing, had been accepting installments from his “customers” through online reserve exchanges, it said.

The racket became known amid vigil being kept by police on a mandate from city Police Commissioner S George taking after data that a few people were driving guileless young lady from different states into the substance exchange by promising them openings in Tamil films and teleserials, the discharge said.
