British police conduct explosion in Manchester terror probe


LONDON: On Thursday, British police exploring the Manchester attack carried out a controlled explosion at an address in the south of the city early .

On Monday, Seven people have been arrested so far in the investigation into suicide assault at a pop show, which killed 22 individuals and injured many others.

The culprit, named as 22-year-old Salman Abedi, was conceived and raised in the south of Manchester, Britain’s third city.

“Today we have been doing looks at an address in the Moss Side range amid which a controlled blast occurred,” Greater Manchester Police said in an announcement on the overnight attack.

“These searches are connected to Monday’s attack on the Manchester Arena, but this is a fast-moving investigation and we are keeping an open mind at this stage.

On Wednesday, The seventh arrest was made in the town of Nuneaton, central England, widening the probe as the previous arrests were all in the Greater Manchester area of northwest England.
