Bowler R Ashwin fulfills promise, celebrates Visakhapatnam win with navy sailors


New Delhi: Off Spiner Ravichandran Ashwin on Monday met with the Navy members after winning the Test Series over England in the Visakhapatnam.

On his twitter account, he wrote, "On board the INS JALASHWA!! Had the measure of i had guaranteed," he composed. 

Through this match he has earned more respect from his fans while his fans are calling him a 'hero'. 

As per reports, Ashwin appreciated all the soldiers of the Armed Forces who are guarding the Nation. 

Ashwin presented a signed cricket bat to Eastern Naval Command and Rear Admiral Dasgupta, who introduced the ENC Crest to the 30-year-old. 

Raise Admiral B. Dasgupta, YSM, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet facilitated Ashwin on board at INS Jalashwa, one of the forefront warships of the naval force. 

Prior in the day, India enlisted a thorough 245-run triumph over England in the second Test at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
