MUMBAI: Stock exchange platform BSE has opened its regional office in Shimla on Saturday. Through the latest opening, it has made its presence in around 24 cities across the country.
BSE said, the Investor Services Centre is set up in line with SEBI requirements — is part of its plans to expand its operations and meet the needs of the growing investors' community.
"The office will facilitate query handling, redressal of grievances against trading members and arbitration mechanism," the BSE said.
"In accordance with its plans to reach out to investors' groups in tier-II and tier-III cities, the Investor Services Centre of the BSE aims to facilitate and provide infrastructure for the community."
The investors can visit the centre to boost knowledge about the capital market and the working of the stock exchanges.
"The Investor Services Centre will also play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining investors' faith and confidence by resolving their grievances," the statement added.
