ALWAR: The body of a six-year-old girl, who fell into a 900ft deep borewell at Bairair village under the Rajgarh police station area in Alwar was recovered after eight days of the incident on Tuesday.
Personnel from civil defence agencies, public health engineering department, National Disaster Relief Force and State Disaster Relief Force along with the local police were engaged in the rescue operation. However, teams were not able to save the life of the girl.
The ill-fated young lady, Komal Meena, was playing close to the uncovered borewell and fell into it. Soon after the episode, a few kids, including her sibling, raised a caution, educated her folks and alarmed close-by territories.
To discover the young lady’s correct location, villagers embedded a rope and found the youngster caught at a profundity of almost 110ft.
