UP: The locals of Bisada Village put the Indian Flag on the body of Ravin Sisodia who killed Mohammad Akhlaq in Dadri lynching case.
The accused died in a hospital of Delhi on Tuesday as he was suffering from severe fever from last 3 to 4 days. The family members of Ravin alleged that he was beaten to death inside the jail.
On September 28, 2015, the accused killed Mohammad Aklaq as his family members stored beef in his refrigerator.
“He did not die, he was killed. He was innocent. Ikhlaq’s family had named him in the FIR as we are their neighbours,” said Ranveer Sisodia, father said.
Doctors claimed that, the victim has no injury marks on the body.
The tricolor flag was put on the body of the victim by the residents of UP to mark the respect residents.
The investigation was held by the police officials of UP. Police said, “It would take legal action if any disrespect was shown to the national flag.”
Abhishek Yadav, Superintendent of police (rural), Gautam Budh Nagar asserted, “Additional forces had been setup in the village, though normalcy currently prevailed there.”
A protest was held by around 500 people who demanded a compensation of R 1 crore for Ravin’s family and a government job for his wife.
“We will not tolerate this (Ravin’s killing). The government has to ensure safety of the 14 other boys who are behind the bars. They should be shifted to a jail outside UP for trial,” Prachi said.
