BIHAR: Students failed in Board exams


Bihar: The state has recently declared the board exam results of classes 10 and 12 and it was found that many students failed and they are now queuing up in the National Institute of Open Schooling to save their year.

“The examination was conducted in September- October this year. More than 800 students appeared for the examination in stream 2”, said NIOS Regional Director

The students can apply for the NIOS exam under Stream 2. The last date for applying the exam is June 30.

"The NIOS is providing the facility of Transfer of Credit. Under this, a failed student has to appear in at least three subjects including the subject he/she has failed. The original marks of rest two subjects in the previous exam would be credited in the new mark sheet," the NIOS Regional Director added.

The forms for Streams 2, 3 and 4 are available on website and there is a facility of applying online, director said.
