VAISHALI, BIHAR: Policemen in Bihar tied a rope around the neck of a dead man and dragged his body in footage that uncovered horrifying lack of care. The man was discovered dead in the waterway Ganga by villagers in Bihar's Vaishali area. The body was hauled out when the police arrived two hours subsequent to being called.
Without a rescue vehicle or any laborers, the police tied a noose around the man's neck and dragged him several meters from the riverbank to their vehicle. In the video, an extensive group looked as the body was dragged. After the video was circled and went to the notification of top officers, two policemen have been suspended. This is the second episode of the dead being dealt with insensitively by the police in Vaishali.
