Actor Amitabh Bachchan has announced that adorable Ileana D’Cruz will be seen in upcoming movie “Aankhen 2”. The news was confirmed during the grand launch of Aankhen 2.
During the launch of the film, the starcast of the team was present. Everyone including Amitabh Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, producer Gaurang Doshi and director Anees Bazmee were introduced in a event by beautiful models.
The two performing artists who couldn't make it to the dispatch attributable to not being around the local area to be specific Anil Kapoor and Arjun Rampal were likewise formally presented by the entertainer. While Arjun sent over a recorded message looking at being in Aankhen 2, there was no video or sound correspondence from Anil Kapoor's end. Next in line to be presented was Regina Cassandra as the main woman of the film who shook a leg in front of an audience.
Post the presentation of the cast and team, a mashup promo containing old film shots of all the above presented performing artists was played. The astonishment component for us was when shots of Ileana showed up. Shock in light of the fact that the on-screen character was not formally presented and nobody had reported her name as the other driving woman in the film. Another perplexing element was to see Regina's photos disappearing from the promo.
When asked by Amitabh whether Ileana would play a role in the movie, Amitabh said, ” Jitne logon ko aapne parde par dekha woh sab hai iss film main. (Everyone you have seen on the screen today are part of this film).”
Amitabh added that, “Aapko kya laga aise hi dikha diya? (You thought we have shown these people just like that?).
Moreover, Ileana has confirmed the news through her tweet. She has alleged that she has not signed the film.
Producer Gaurang Doshi said, “We had meeting with Ileana D’Cruz along with her manager and besides me, director Anees Bazmee was also present. We had this meeting two days before the launch event. She had said she liked the idea of the film and her role. And within a week she would sign an agreement.”
