Bengaluru: Fire Breaks Out At Kailash Bar, 5 workers dead


BANGALORE: Nearly five staff members of Kailash Bar and Restaurant lost their lives in a major fire that occurred at Kumbaara Sangha building in Kalasipalya on Monday.

The happening took place at 2:30 AM when the workers were sleeping.

Cops found the sufferers as Swami (23), Prasad (20), Mahesh. As per the reports, most of them belong from Tumakuru whereas Manjunath (45) was a native from Hassan and Keerthi was a resident (24) from Mandya.

“An episode of fire took place at Kailash Bar and Restaurant situated in the ground floor of Kumbaara sangha building. The blaze was seen by few people at around 2.30 AM and immediately fire extinguishers reached to the spot to douse the flames. 2 fire brigades and 1 fire rescue vehicle came to douse the flames,” a senior cop officer affirmed.

The reason of blaze is not known yet. The probe is in process by the officials.
