Begum Jaan: New Song ‘Azaadiyan’ showcases the cost India and Pakistan Paid for Freedom

Actress Vidya Balan is all set for her upcoming film. The film is directed by Srijit Mukherji.

The filmmakers have released the new song from Srijit Mukherji’s Begum Jaan which has a title ‘Azaadiyan’. The song features heavy cost India and Pakistan had to pay to receive freedom from British rule.

The latest track has been sung by Sonu Nigam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. It showcases how people got influenced, lives got changed, and generations got discoloured because of the sore division.

The movie revolves around brothel headed by Vidya Balan which comes right where the new outskirt amongst India and Pakistan must be drawn. The inhabitants are made a request to discharge the massage parlor in a month’s opportunity and how Begum Jaan and her young ladies battle for their legitimate place is what really matters to the film.

Begum Jaan is a remake of Bengali film Rajkahini. It is slated to hit the theatres on 14th April.
