BCCI President Anurag Thakur Become Part Of ICC’s F&CA Committee


New Delhi:  BCCI President Anurag Thakur has become a part of International Cricket Council’s Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee on Friday during the meeting of board in Cape Town.

This decision will help to make sub-committee of ICC as all the revenue related financial aspects will be discussed in this committee.

The BCCI had raised protests about not having it’s illustrative in F&CA advisory group and senior authorities in the board named it as an embarrassment with Shashank Manohar being executive of worldwide body.

A BCCI source who knows about the guidelines said that minute Thakur was made executive of the Development Committee of ICC, he consequently turned out to be a piece of F&CA council.

“The decide states that since Anurag has been made Chairman Development Committee, he is likewise individual from the F&CA, Executive Committee (ExCo) and Governing Committee,” the source told PTI.
