BCCI to honour Indian women cricket team players with cash reward of Rs 50 lakh each


New Delhi: The Indian cricket board (BCCI) declared that every Indian women cricket team will be honored with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh by BCCI for their outstanding performance in the ICC World Cup tournament in England.

As per the reports, the supporting Indian players will get Rs 25 lakh each by BCCI. India defeated six-time champions Australia to enter their second final match in the World Cup. Indian team will now face off England in the final match that will take place at Lord today.

“I would like to applaud the Indian women’s cricket team for their excellent presentation in the ICC Women’s World Cup,” Committee Of Administrators (CoA) chairman Vinod Rai stated.

“The team has displayed marvelous performance and the girls have lifted up the bar with every upcoming match under the great direction of Mithali Raj.” He said

“The Women’s World Cup has been extensively chased across India and this team’s strength and presentation on the field has won fans all over the world. I am confident India has enthused the next generation of cricketers and several other girls will engage in the cricket in the coming years.” He added.

BCCI acting president CK Khanna asserted, “The BCCI conceded the presentation of the Indian Women’s cricket team. “

“The all-round presentation was on display in the semi- final over Australia Women, who have triumph the World Cup six times. The courageous batting of Harmanpreet Kaur mirrors the team’s approach under stress.” He stated.
